Wait … what is this feeling? Did he actually get defensive? I—Uhm, I don’t know how I’m supposed to be feeling right now. I-I finally felt something else other than loathing and jealousy. I felt … flattered.

I’ve seen you around as well, just never gotten the chance to talk to you. I’m glad you did introduce yourself. I am doing great today, just about to go out to the park for a run. How are you today, beautiful?

Why thank you. And, well, I’m doing just fine. Just finished with school, then cheerios practice, then play production. Now I’m on my sofa, relaxing after such a tiring day :)
A run? Sounds exciting. I usually run in the early morning rather than later at dark. It seems to wake me up more.
Yeah it’s Nate. And you are?

I’m Jamie. I’ve seen you around and all, so I decided to introduce myself. How are you on this fine day?
Wes smirked as she moved towards the car, guiding her with a hand resting gently on the small of her back. As he wandered over to the driver’s side, he gave the car a swift kick, as he had done a thousand times. He jiggled the handle up, then down, and then finally straight out as it swung open with ease.
A grin spread across his face as he watched Jamie struggle with her side of the car. “You just gotta treat my baby right, city girl.” Jamie’s reputation somewhat preceded her: a once fairly wealthy child living the luxurious life in NYC. “She may not be your normal sleek limo, but at least she’s got some class.”
Wes’s tone had dropped to one that was a bit too bitter, and he took a deep breath to clear the negative energy. Better to keep the charm turned on as high as possible for Miss Clarke.
He was caught a bit off-guard by her next question (as off-guard as someone as suave as Wes could be caught). Tapping his chin with his finger, he pretended to be in very deep thought over his answer. “Well.. let me think… I know there was some reason for me to go through all this trouble.”
Wes’s eyes lit up as he mocked her. “Oh yes! I remember now.” He flashed her an award-winning smirk. “But do you really want to find out this moment? It could make for a lovely surprise later in the night.”
After exposing such an innocent emotion, Jamie quickly squinted her eyes and grimaced. She knew better than to expect straight answers from “second, underlying-motive guy.” Adjusting her dress nervously, she dropped the conversation and leaned her head against the car window. What was she doing here, she mused while gazing at the night lights twinkling as they drove by. Wes probably just wanted to seduce her and then throw her away, just like last time. Although, last time he merely drove her home and never tried calling her back and avoided her and hit on other girls. Maybe this was his way of remorse. For saying he was sorry…
Jamie silently chuckled at that thought. Wes feels sorry? Like that’d ever happen. She, then, gave up on that thought and returned her gaze towards Wes who was devoutly searching for an open parking spot. “Looks like it’s busy here at Breadstix,” she made light conversation. “Luckily I’m not working tonight, right?” She smiled bashfully and adverted her gaze way from him to the parking lot.
Finding a parking spot across the lot, she couldn’t help but jump out of her seat, “There! There’s one. Hurry up and get it before that bastard of a Mercedes steals it from you!” She couldn’t help but laugh at how ridiculous and childish she may have sounded, but she continued. “I mean, if this hunk of metal has anything, it has some mass and power to it. I’m sure that little dingy plastic Mercedes would be pulverized by this thing.”
Jamie, then, realized how much she was warming up to Wes’ car … and, she guessed, Wes himself. All the animosity built up from past weeks was melting away like the icy slush that remained from the previous Winter season. It’s now springtime, which called for thawing, warm sunrays, and butterflies. Although it was dark and extremely cold on this Spring night, she still felt the butterflies, creeping up inside of her.
Pulling into the parking spot before that other car did felt as if she’d won a long, torturous battle. With a victorious smile, she swung open her car door and met Wes on the other side of his old pickup truck. “Shall we?” she nodded towards the door.

Look what I found!~
I was in the prop closet back behind the theater room and I found some bubbles. And who doesn’t like bubbles? Kinda a mood setter, aren’t they?
I feel as if everyone’s starting to stress a little about the musical and bubbles just lighten to mood. You’re so enticed by their ability to float that you’re just tempted to squash those little bubbles.
Other than my uncanny ability to light people’s moods, how are you all this fine night? :)

I need you here with me
Cause love is all we need
Just take a hold of the hand that breaks the fall
Of course I do! :D I don’t really tell people about it, but I had to stop when we moved to Lima. We couldn’t afford to have the teacher fly here.
Who knows, maybe I’ll pick it back up!
